Specifications
It is built for wet heating systems: Schneider rates it for water at 73 °C continuously and 110 °C at most, on a valve whose surface stays at or below 93 °C. It works in rooms from 0 to 45 °C and is rated IP30, so it belongs indoors in dry rooms.1

The thermostat reports its model as CCTFR6100 and uses the standard Zigbee thermostat cluster: local temperature, occupied heating setpoint, PI heating demand and running state.3
Its Zigbee definition writes the setpoint from 7 to 30 °C in 1 °C steps, a narrower range than the 5 to 30 °C the head accepts locally.13
Heating demand is the valve position: 0 % is fully closed and 100 % fully open. Running state reads heat while it is calling for heat and idle otherwise.2
Setup
-
Fit it to the valve
Screw the supplied M30 × 1.5 ring nut onto the valve, or fit the Danfoss RA adapter first on an RA valve, then mount the head.1
-
Insert the batteries
Fit the two AA alkaline cells supplied with it.1
-
Open pairing in Edge
In Edge, open pairing on the Gateway’s Zigbee network and put the thermostat into pairing mode as its leaflet describes. A thermostat already joined to another Zigbee network, such as a Wiser system, has to leave it or be reset first.
-
Check one reading and one setting
Confirm Edge identifies it as Schneider Electric CCTFR6100Z3. Compare the local temperature with a thermometer in the room, then write a setpoint a few degrees above it and check the heating demand rises.
