Pulse Counter

Collect pulse outputs from water, gas, heat and electricity meters. Send readings wirelessly to the Gateway without replacing the meter.

EpiSensor Pulse Counter

Count what your meters already measure

The ZPC reads pulse outputs from existing meters and sends the counts wirelessly to the Gateway.

Keep the meters you have

A utility meter with a pulse output is already measuring what you need. The ZPC reads that output and puts the consumption on the network, so nothing is replaced, no supply is interrupted, and no meter has to be recertified.

Meters it can read

  • Water
  • Gas
  • Oil
  • Heat
  • Electricity

40 Hz maximum pulse rate, mains models

ZPC-20 and ZPC-22 catch pulses as short as 10 ms, on inputs rated up to 35 V DC.

Battery or mains power

ZPC-10 and ZPC-12 run on battery, counting up to 4 Hz. ZPC-20 and ZPC-22 take a mains supply of 85–264 V AC.

Sealed against water and dust

An IP67 polycarbonate enclosure, rated to operate from −25 °C to 55 °C.

One ZPC, two meters

Dual-channel models, ZPC-12 and ZPC-22, count two pulse outputs at once. Counts travel over Zigbee, not a proprietary radio, and are held in flash on the device until the Gateway has them. AES-128 on the mesh and TLS 1.2 upstream, and no EpiSensor cloud service is required: your data never passes through our servers.
