Utility meters, AMI communications and grid-data software
Accuenergy supplies electrical meters, current transformers, communications modules and gateways for building and industrial energy monitoring.
Accuenergy designs electrical meters, current sensors and collection equipment for building and industrial monitoring. Its meter catalogue separates panel instruments, multi-circuit submeters and DC meters. Acuvim products address a main supply or feeder, while AcuRev products include instruments for measuring several branch circuits from one installation.
The company also supplies the collection and software layers. AcuLink 810 gathers serial, network and pulse data, and AcuCloud offers remote consumption analysis and tenant-billing functions. This gives projects a choice between buying individual measurement components and assembling a larger metering system from the same supplier.
The AcuRev 4100 supports up to 24 current inputs for branch-circuit monitoring. The same catalogue includes the AcuDC-262, with one DC voltage input and two isolated current inputs, and the AcuDC-261 MID for dual-port EV charging. These products address different measurement layouts within the wider range.
For existing instruments, AcuLink 810 provides eight pulse-counter inputs, an RS485 port and dual Ethernet ports. Its listed incoming protocols include Modbus RTU/TCP and BACnet MS/TP/IP. The gateway can forward information using MQTT, HTTP(S) and other documented outputs, combining several collection methods in a DIN-rail or wall-mounted device.

AXM-WEB2 adds network communications and a browser interface to compatible Acuvim II meters. Its functions include stored trends, waveform views and configurable logging. The manufacturer binds its IEC 61850 certification claim specifically to the Acuvim IIW paired with AXM-WEB2 or AXM-WEB2 FOLC, rather than to every meter and module.
AcuMesh takes a different approach: transceivers form a wireless mesh between existing RS485 Modbus RTU devices. This provides a retrofit collection option where running a continuous serial cable is inconvenient. These are manufacturer-documented interfaces; a working Edge connection still requires a reviewed device map and a checked reading.
ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
AcuCloud integration described by the manufacturer; applies to the software workflow rather than every meter.11
AcuCloud separates basic remote consumption tracking from enhanced logging, reporting and billing features. Tenant access and billing are part of the billing tier, while its analysis tools help energy managers compare circuits and facilities. The service also documents collection from third-party instruments through AcuLink 810.
Accuenergy's catalogue addresses several physical energy systems: branch-circuit monitoring in buildings, DC measurement and EV-charger metering. The same site's application navigation covers data centres and building automation. This breadth is useful when a project includes both a facility's AC distribution and DC equipment, because the measurement products are differentiated by those electrical requirements.
Accuenergy's company history dates its founding to 1998 and identifies Toronto, Canada as its headquarters. The timeline records the introduction of Acuvim in 2003, current transformers in 2008, pre-wired AcuPanel instruments in 2012 and a data-acquisition server in 2014. AcuCloud followed in 2018.
That history explains the current combination of instruments, sensors, ready-wired panels and software. The company describes research and development in Toronto and an international sales presence. Its partnership programme provides a separate route for businesses incorporating Accuenergy metering into their own projects, alongside the standard product catalogue and technical-support channels.
