EpiSensor was thrilled to be invited to join Advantech Europe at EM-Power Europe 2024 (InterSolar Europe), held at the Messe, Munich, 19-21 June. EM-Power Europe is the international exhibition for energy management and integrated energy solutions, and operates under the motto, “Empowering Grids and Prosumers”. This premier exhibition provides a fantastic platform for industry leaders and innovators to meet and share groundbreaking technologies in grid optimisation and energy flexibility.
In collaboration with Advantech Europe, our exhibition representatives, Brendan Carroll, CEO, and Cristina Coffey, CSO (both pictured below), highlighted the synergy between our specialised energy management and demand response IoT solutions and Advantech’s next-generation gateways. Together, we showcased a comprehensive suite of tools designed to optimise smart grids and accelerate energy flexibility programmes worldwide.

Key highlights from the exhibit include:
- Smart Grid Optimisation: Demonstrations on how our combined solutions can streamline grid operations, enhance efficiency, and support the future of energy flexibility.
- Advantech’s Gateways: The robust and versatile IoT gateways from Advantech Europe, which when combined with EpiSensor’s specialist energy monitoring and demand response infrastructure, offer advanced solutions for global energy services.
- Live Demos: The opportunity to showcase our latest software developments, EpiSensor Edge Snaps and Edge Flows, simplified visual programming for energy management. The consumer-class user experience and intuitive features, like ‘drag-and-drop’ functionality, were welcomed by attendees and it was great to get live feedback.
- Insights into advanced demand management: This topic arose frequently at the exhibit, highlighting the importance of adaptive IoT solutions in the evolving energy landscape.
This collaboration with Advantech Europe reinforced our shared vision of a smarter, more efficient energy future and we look forward to continuing to advance partner initiatives together.
