Demand Logic analyses building-management and sensor data to help property teams identify faults, coordinate actions and track performance.
Demand Logic analyses operational data from buildings and turns findings into actions for property and maintenance teams. Its platform overview combines data collection, automated analysis and a shared record of work rather than stopping at visualisation. The system learns building behaviour from incoming measurements, identifies exceptions and presents equipment issues for attention. Teams can discuss the findings while viewing the same operating data. The company overview places energy use, maintenance costs and occupant comfort within the same building-performance task. Its role is analysis and coordination around a building, with the physical systems remaining part of the site's existing controls estate.
The platform workflow starts with a site connection and continues with remote setup and data analysis. Detected exceptions become Actions in the collaboration tool. The Actions List tracks progress and provides an electronic record of changes to building performance. Users can compare equipment behaviour before and after an intervention and report the resulting benefit. The platform also provides portfolio-level views so teams can see properties needing attention. Alongside the software, DL Optimise supplies a technical account manager with BMS, HVAC and facilities-management expertise, including onboarding, engineering support, performance actions and periodic reviews.
Demand Logic's integration catalogue distinguishes several source categories rather than presenting one universal connection. BMS entries include Tridium Niagara, Trend, Siemens Desigo and Johnson Controls Metasys. Separate entries cover VRF systems, IoT sensors and facilities-management applications. Examples include Airthings sensors, Monnit plant monitoring, MRI Evolution and Concerto. These manufacturer and application listings describe the company's integration coverage; individual connection details still depend on the deployed system. The catalogue shows why building analytics may combine control points, dedicated environmental measurements and maintenance records instead of relying only on electricity-meter totals.
In its Hanover Square project report, Demand Logic describes connecting a data-acquisition device in 2021 and streaming more than 10,000 data sets to identify HVAC inefficiencies. That is a project-specific account rather than a universal saving guarantee. More recently, the May 2026 Locale partnership links Demand Logic's building analytics with Locale's building-operations platform. The partnership addresses the connection between performance findings and wider property workflows. Together these examples illustrate two sides of the offering: obtaining operating data from plant and equipment, then making its findings usable by the people managing a building and its occupants.
The current team page identifies Mike Darby as co-founder and CEO, Joe Short as co-founder and Chief Science Officer, Dan Mauger as co-founder and CIO, and Nils Tödtmann as co-founder and Chief IoT Architect. The company site gives a London contact location at The Hickman Building and separately identifies the registered office in Epsom. Companies House records Demand Logic Limited's incorporation on 20 December 2007. The founding year shown here refers to legal incorporation. Its public team spans building analysis, engineering, software, technical account management and customer support. Its official company profile identifies London, United Kingdom as headquarters.
