Data in
Sensor measurements, meter pulses or optical data, and model-specific Modbus RTU collection.

Overview

Yosensi develops LoRaWAN devices for measuring building and industrial conditions and collecting data from existing equipment. Its portfolio includes environmental sensors, current monitors and meter interfaces, supported by a management platform and mobile configuration tools. The company page presents both its own product development and work on custom hardware.

The measurement path differs substantially between products. YO Power observes AC current using external clamps. YO Meter Reader 2.0 obtains readings from an existing meter. YO Modbus forwards configured register queries. Selecting between them starts with whether the required information already exists in an instrument or needs a new physical sensor.

Offering

YO Power supports up to six AC current clamps, with published clamp options from 100 A to 1,000 A. It uses an external 6–30 V DC or 5–21 V AC supply and a DIN-rail enclosure. Its standard enclosure is IP20; the separate protective enclosure option should not be confused with the base unit's rating.

YO 360 combines temperature, humidity and a three-axis accelerometer in a compact battery-operated sensor. YO Meter Reader 2.0 instead accepts optical LED pulses, electrical pulses or a supported IEC 62056-21 optical probe. The current documentation labels M-Bus and wireless M-Bus support as coming soon, rather than an available interface.

Products and platforms

  1. YO Modbus

    Modbus to LoRaWAN bridge

Collects configured Modbus RTU queries for transmission over LoRaWAN, with published configuration and payload documentation.6

Technology

YO Modbus bridges serial Modbus RTU readings to LoRaWAN. Its documentation describes up to 150 configured queries, grouped into at most 30 radio packets with up to five queries per packet. Configuration specifies the slave, function, starting register and number of words; interpretation then depends on the source instrument's register definition.

The documented configuration table exposes read function codes 1, 2, 3 and 4. Another paragraph also lists write functions, so this profile does not promise remote write operation from that inconsistent description. Yosensi supplies payload documentation and decoders for integration with an external server, while Bluetooth supports local adoption and configuration of its nodes.

Markets

Current monitoring can reveal equipment operation and changes in loading without making a complete power measurement. YO Power is therefore useful for observing current patterns across several circuits. Converting those observations into real power requires voltage and power factor information that a current clamp alone does not supply. Where the goal is accumulated consumption, a meter's own energy counter is the more direct input.

YO Meter Reader 2.0 can retrieve documented import and export energy identifiers from supported optical meters, or count pulses from an appropriate output. Environmental readings from YO 360 complement these measurements when occupancy, room conditions or equipment movement are relevant to the investigation.

Company

Yosensi's contact page publishes its address at Żurawia 71A/1.50 in Białystok, Poland. Its company page introduces the engineering and commercial team and describes the hardware and software work behind the platform. The same company page dates the business start to 2018 and distinguishes this from launching its website in 2020.

For engineers, the support site is especially useful because it separates device parameters, installation, LoRaWAN configuration and payload decoding. The YO Modbus documentation and meter-reader documentation carry January 2026 update dates and expose implementation details beyond the product summaries. These are the appropriate starting points for defining a supported device configuration or checking what a received payload actually represents.
