EpiSensor exhibited its ISO 50001-ready wireless energy monitoring system at ISO 50001 Ireland in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin, on 24 April 2013.

ISO 50001 Ireland was an industry conference that brought together around 120 senior managers from Irish business who were considering the transition to the international energy standard but had not yet made it. The event was arranged as an exchange between organisations about to make that transition and companies that had already made it.

ISO 50001:2011 is the international standard for energy management, released in June 2011 to replace the British and European standard BS EN 16001:2009. It sets a framework for improving energy efficiency in public and private sector organisations. Certification defines an organisation’s commitment to continual improvement in energy management, and implementation helps an organisation meet related legislative and regulatory requirements.
