MRI eSightEnergy management for buildings

Plan EpiSensor meter-data delivery to MRI Energy. Review the documented CSV over SFTP integration, mapping checks and an energy-management project example.

Overview

Collect measurements at the site and deliver them to MRI Energy for the reporting workflow your team uses.

The documented integration

EpiSensor's published MRI Energy integration describes CSV delivery over SFTP. The receiving platform supplies the connection details, while the Gateway selects the measurements to export. Legacy links may refer to eSight.

The original instructions use the legacy Gateway interface. For a new Edge deployment, confirm the installed export flow, file format and receiving account with the project team rather than copying old menu instructions unchanged.

Agree the data contract

  • Define the meter identifier, measurement name and unit for every exported series.
  • Agree timestamps, time zone and reporting interval before comparing readings across sites.
  • Confirm whether each value is an accumulated meter total or consumption for an interval.
  • Obtain the SFTP destination and credentials securely from the platform administrator.
  • Verify a sample file and its received values before scheduling the complete export.

See the project context

Read the 3Arena energy-management case study for an example of using more detailed site measurements to understand energy use. Project results are specific to that installation, not a guaranteed saving for another site.

EpiSensor can also provide a complete local system through Edge. Choose monitoring hardware, review the energy-management application, or talk through an MRI Energy project.
