Overview

HiTHIUM concentrates on stationary energy storage, manufacturing cells as well as the modules and systems assembled from them. Its current portfolio spans utility installations, commercial and industrial storage, and residential products. The industrial distinction is the depth of the battery supply chain: a developer can encounter HiTHIUM as the cell supplier inside another integrator's system or as the supplier of a complete battery container. Its product families also separate applications by discharge duration, so equal energy capacities do not necessarily describe the same power capability or operating duty.

Offering

The utility-system catalogue includes the liquid-cooled ∞Power 6.25 MWh family in two-hour and four-hour configurations, alongside the ∞Block 5.016 MWh system. HiTHIUM's platform announcement explains the engineering behind the duration split: the two-hour configuration uses 587 Ah cells, while the four-hour configuration uses 1175 Ah cells. Both sit within the ∞Pack+ platform. That makes duration an explicit product-design choice rather than a software setting applied to every battery. The manufacturer also describes compatibility with string and central power-conversion systems, giving project integrators more than one conversion architecture to consider.

Technology

For the ∞Power and ∞Block models, the technical catalogue explicitly identifies CAN, RS485 and Ethernet as battery-management communications interfaces. It also gives configuration, cooling method and physical dimensions by model, which are useful when comparing the battery enclosure with the rest of a project. These are interface declarations, not a published universal register map. The application protocol and control ownership still belong in the project integration specification. The ∞Pack+ description adds modular pack construction and a shared platform across duration-specific cells, linking the electrical architecture to replacement and maintenance planning.

Markets

HiTHIUM's data-centre storage announcement combines two deliberately different systems: ∞Power 6.25 MWh eight-hour storage for sustained energy delivery and ∞Power N2.28 MWh one-hour sodium-ion storage for rapid changes in demand. The company presents that combination as a way to address both longer renewable-energy gaps and short power surges. Its broader portfolio also separates utility, commercial and residential solutions. The distinction is useful for buyers: a cell specification, an industrial cabinet and a data-centre energy-storage solution answer different procurement questions, even when they share the same manufacturer.

Company

HiTHIUM's company and manufacturing page records its founding in 2019 and identifies Xiamen as its headquarters. The Xiamen site combines materials development, research and battery-system manufacturing. The same page describes the Mesquite, Texas operation as a wholly owned subsidiary of Xiamen Hithium Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., with a battery-module and system-assembly plant that began mass production and shipments in August 2025. These locations connect a Chinese cell and system business with regional assembly capacity. The data-centre announcement also describes local engineering, warehouses and service support in the United States.
