Read-only starter map for the DIRIS A-40 using Socomec communication table v1.7.4. It covers instantaneous voltage, current, power, power factor and frequency plus total import/export energy. It does not claim compatibility with the DIRIS A-41.

Prove the decode before rollout

This template covers the DIRIS A-40 registers in Socomec communication table v1.7.4 only. The joined directory record also names the DIRIS A-41; do not apply this file to an A-41 without validating its exact communication table.

Socomec publishes these decimal addresses in JBus convention. Edge sends zero-based PDU offsets, like Modbus Poll's zero-based mode, so the published values are used directly: for example total active power remains start_address 18476.

All selected measurements use function code 03. Socomec documents Big-Endian bytes and high-word-first 32-bit values, so Edge uses endianness big with word_swap false and byte_swap false.

Commission against the meter display before enabling export or automation. This starter map deliberately omits writable configuration, reset commands, residual sub-kWh registers, tariffs and alarm records.

Applying the file replaces the selected device's current Modbus sensor list. It does not change the Gateway connection, server address, Modbus unit ID, device enable state or export identifiers.

Open Settings → Device Templates, choose Import, and select the downloaded file.

Apply to the exact model
Use a new or backed-up device definition, then choose its existing Gateway connection and unit address. Applying the template replaces that definition's current sensor list.

Check identity, value, unit and timestamp against one known condition before enabling exports or repeating the setup.
