The terminals tell you: S0 or +/− is pulse, A/B is RS-485, M-Bus is M-Bus.

Is the meter in a hazardous (ATEX) zone?

The site's hazardous-area classification drawing says, and a meter inside a zone is usually marked Ex. No EpiSensor product is Ex rated, so nothing of ours goes inside one.
