O’Mahoney also has invested in the company.

An entrepreneur with extensive international experience, O’Mahoney is currently CEO at HeartSine® Technologies, Inc., a leading manufacturer of automated external defibrillators, and holds a number of non-executive positions with other fast-growing technology companies in Ireland. His business advisory company, Maywentee Ltd., consults with companies seeking to drive growth internationally.

O’Mahoney recently led Ireland-based compound semiconductor company Firecomms in the first ever technology acquisition of an Irish high-tech company by a Chinese corporation. As CEO of Firecomms, he attracted major investments from Irish, European and Asian venture capitalists and strategic partners, and expanded the company’s brand to a global marketplace particularly in China.
Previously O’Mahoney was co-founder and president of Northstar Systems Inc., which grew to a worldwide business in the computer and smart handhelds accessories markets with several manufacturing plants in China. The company was jointly based in the Silicon Valley and Asia.
