Gateway / Overview
The Overview page in this section presents general information regarding the Gateway.
Gateway Serial: This is the serial number of the Gateway. It is derived from the serial number of the ZAP that is connected to the Gateway. The Gateway serial number is used as a unique identifier in each data export file name. See the ‘Data Export’ section of this document for more information.
Example: DAT_XXX_YYY.zzz (where XXX is the gateway serial number, YYY is the file time stamp and zzz is the file type specific extension).
Software Version: This is the Gateway software version currently installed.
Release Date: This is the release date of the Gateway software version currently installed.
Assign Gateway Name: The name assigned to this instance of the Gateway. The default name is “Gateway”. The user may assign another name as required by entering the name in the text box and clicking the ‘Save Changes’ button at the bottom of the page.
Alphanumeric characters (A-Z, a-z and 0-9) are allowed as well as spaces, dashes ( – ) and underscores ( _ ). If an invalid Gateway name is entered in the text box, an error response message will be displayed and the Gateway name will not be changed. Otherwise, a successful response message will be displayed. The Gateway name assigned will appear in the footer of each page, except the Login page.
